Challenges and Impacts of New Space Applications

New Space will be the theme of the 1st Munich Space Dialogue, taking place on November 20, 2017 in the framework of the "expoAIR 2017 – The Aerospace Supply Chain Industry" fair at the exhibition grounds of the Messe München.

In old space times business was dominated by a few space companies nearly 100 percent government-funded. This has dramatically been changed.

New Space companies starting their business in garages, as university startups or having its origins in other sectors besides space have successfully entered the space market with innovative disruptive space solutions on less cost. They are profiting from innovative developments in or for space. This is influencing all areas of space and its stakeholders.

The Munich Space Dialogue is featuring discussions on challenges and implications of New Space among invited space experts from industry, science and space agencies. The programme of the Munich Space Dialogue includes plenary discussions as well as presentation sessions and is addressing in particular the following topics:

  • Serviceable Satellites contra Low Cost Satellites?
  • Digital Agenda in Space
  • Future of Transportation Systems
  • Challenges and Future Visions for the Next Human Outpost in Space

Register now – only a few places available

The registration fee (75,-€) for the "New Space Dialogue" includes entrance and conference part of the expoAIR 2017 event, as well as lunch and coffee break on Monday 20th November.
